Missions
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8, NIV
Ingleside is involved in missions projects just as Acts 1:8 says…
Here
- Community outreach. We have teams that go on a regular basis to share the gospel and serve at the Storehouse Ministry Center, the Youth Development Campus, the Macon Rescue Mission and the Georgia Industrial Children’s Home.
- Macon Impact. We have local mission and community service days in April and September each year. Small groups and individuals participate in projects all over the city to share God’s love in practical ways.
- Glocal ministry. Families can befriend an international college student and make a global impact in our local community.
There
- Church planting. We partner with the North American Mission Board to help new church plants in strategic cities in the United States. We have sent mission teams to New York City, Baltimore and Indianapolis in recent years.
- Disaster relief. We send teams to help meet physical needs in the name of Christ when disaster strikes in the United States. We have sent disaster relief and rebuilding teams to New Orleans, the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Atlanta and Nashville in recent years.
Everywhere
- Huaylas Quechua people. Ingleside has adopted the Huaylas Quechua people of Northern Peru, a people group that was considered “unreached” a few years ago. We pray for the Huaylas Quechua and send mission teams to them on a regular basis.
- Lima, Peru. International Mission Board missionaries and Ingleside members, Jim and Sherry Neal, serve as church planters among the marginal urban populations of Lima, Peru. We send teams to partner with them to reach the people surrounding Lima with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Ends of the earth. We partner with the International Mission Board and send volunteer teams to work with their missionaries all over the world. We are ready to go wherever God takes us!
The requirements for participating in a short-term mission trip with Ingleside include:
