Latin American Missions
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and
teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am
with you always, to the very end of the age."
Matthew 28:19-20 NIV
Medical Clinics
Our teams have provided free medical and dental clinics in numerous
villages in remote areas. Our team members have included doctors,
physician assistants, nurses, dentists, hygienist, and medical
technicians. We have taken medicines donated by doctors and
pharmaceutical companies to give to the people in the clinics.

Medical Clinic in a remote village
The people we serve have little or no medical care. Our medical teams
often do not have electricity or medical equipment other than what we
bring. Working under difficult physical conditions, our teams have saved
lives and relieved the suffering of many people. On one trip our dentist
pulled several hundred abscessed teeth. We have set broken bones, cared
for severe burn patients, treated infections and fungus, treated lice
and skin disorders and many other illnesses. Many team members have said
they were convinced had we not been there, many of the people would not
have lived due the severity of their illness and lack of available
health care.
Our teams conduct clinics for the people and they teach the local
nurses and doctors modern medical techniques and about new medicines.
They also conduct seminars to teach the people hygiene, healthy diet
habits and disease prevention. Because of the lack of sanitation
facilities and pure drinking water, parasites are a common problem and
education is a key part of our effort to reduce infant mortality. We
need all medical skills and donated medicines and supplies to continue
this ministry.
Because malnutrition is a common problem we bring vitamins for adults
and children.

Lice is a common problem and we treat them
and teach proper bathing
techniques.
