First Visit
If you’re new to Ingleside, you may be asking…
What time is church on Sunday?
At Ingleside we have three opportunities for you to worship every Sunday. Select a time listed below for a further description about that service.
8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Traditional Service in the Chapel
9:40 – 10:45 a.m. Blended Service in the Worship Center
11:00 a.m. – 12:05 p.m. Blended Service in the Worship Center
The preacher and the biblical message will be the same in each of the services. The main difference will be in the “musical heart language” that characterizes each service.
What will the worship service be like?
Regardless of which service you attend, you will enjoy worshiping through great music, an engaging message from the Bible that applies to daily life, and an environment of acceptance, energy and joy.
What should I wear?
It’s really up to you; it’s not a big deal to us. A few will be really dressed up, a few will be really dressed down, but most will be casual and comfortable, somewhere in between.
Is there something for my kids?
Yes! There is outstanding programming for preschoolers (6 weeks through pre-K) during all three worship services. We also offer high-energy, age-group appropriate programming for your elementary, middle or high school student – be sure to check out the ministry pages for activities you will not want them to miss!
When you arrive on campus…
…from Wimbish Road, enter the east side of the campus (closest to Riverside Drive) and follow the signs for First Time Guest Parking (campus map). Greeters will be present to help direct you and/or your family to the Worship Center, age-group ministry areas, or the information desks. Information desks are conveniently located upstairs and downstairs outside the Worship Center. Our Information Desk Greeters can answer questions, provide info, or help you find a Bible study class.
If you have a child…
…we recommend that you allow them to participate in the age group programming that suits them best. Allow your infants, toddlers and preschoolers (ages 6 weeks – pre-K) to be cared for in one of our warm, nurturing One Way Preschool ministry classrooms. Or, if you have a child in elementary school (5K – 5th grade) they won’t want to miss what’s going on in our Xtreme Kids ministry.
Your child will be much happier with our trained volunteers than in the worship service. One of our welcome team greeters or ushers in the worship center will be pleased to guide you to the location of your child’s age group ministry. More information is available at the information desks in the gathering area.
As you enter the worship center…
…ushers are available to assist you should you have any questions or special needs regarding seating or other general requests. Should special needs arise during the service, feel free to go to an usher to request assistance. As a first-time visitor to Ingleside, you are our guest. We don’t expect you to contribute in the offering. Our members and regular attenders give joyfully and generously to support the work of the Lord here. As our guest, just complete and turn in your communication card.
During each service…
…we have a time for everyone to greet the people around them. As a guest, we won’t put you on the spot or call you to the front. We do ask that you complete and turn in a communication card to help us know of your visit and know what kind of information that you would like to receive from us. Place the card in the offering plate at the doors at the end of the service.
After the service…
…you are invited to meet the pastor in the gathering area. We look forward to answering any questions you may have.
