Policies and Procedures

"In all thy ways acknowledge Him. " Proverbs 3:6.
"I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some" I Corinthians 9:22.

Policies and Procedures

We're glad that you have chosen to visit this unique ministry of Ingleside Baptist Church. Our Family Life Center is unapologetically Christ centered and church oriented, therefore, we expect certain attitudes and actions from our participants. Our prayer is that you will feel the excitement and joy we have as believers in Christ Jesus.

The following policies and procedures are designed for your safety and protection. Please read and discuss these policies with your family. It is important that everyone, guests included, understand the policies and procedures so that all may enjoy the comforts, courtesies, and services of this facility. If you have any questions, please ask.

Purpose

The purpose of the Family Life Center is:

  • To seek to lead the lost to Christ;
  • To reach and develop people for the glory of God;
  • To provide quality leisure time activities in a Christian setting that will enhance the fellowship of our church; and
  • To undergird, strengthen, and supplement the other organizations of the church.

Perspective

We believe that God is interested in the total person . . . spiritually, physically, socially, and mentally. We expect the Family Life Center to be a uniquely Christian environment. Our rules, regulations, policies, and procedures are planned to be Christhonoring. Our commitment is to Him. Please help us attain this goal while you are here.

Liability

The use of the Family Life Center facility and all equipment will be at the risk of the participant. Ingleside Baptist Church does not assume liability or responsibility for any injury to the user of the equipment or any facility in the Family Life Center. Organized classes and team sports may require participants to sign a waiverofliability form before they are allowed to participate in that particular activity.

Fees

  • There are fees for some activities.
  • Most fees are determined on a cost recovery
  • Supply fees for craft classes should be paid I at the time of registration.
  • All fees are payable to Ingleside Baptist Church

Participation

Participation in the Family Life Center is open to members of Ingleside Baptist Church or anyone enrolled in the Sunday School ministry of the church. Children in third grade and younger are referred to as underage children and must be accompanied by a responsible adult when using the Family Life Center.

An Ingleside Baptist Church member may bring up to three guests at a time without seeking prior approval from the Minister of Recreation and Single Adults. A guest must be accompanied by his sponsoring church member when using the Family Life Center, unless he is participating in a scheduled program, such as exercise, craft, or continuing education classes, or in a scheduled sports program.

Guests

Ingleside members are urged to bring guests to the Family Life Center.

  • Guests are individuals who are not enrolled in any organization of Ingleside Baptist Church but are hosted by an Ingleside member.
  • Each time guests come to the Family Life Center they should fill out the guest registration form and be sure to have the member they are with sign this form.

  • Any Ingleside member desiring to bring more than three guests at a time is asked to obtain prior approval from the Minister of Recreation and Single Adults.

  • Ingleside members are responsible for the conduct of their guests.
