The student ministry is giving the kids at the Georgia Industrial Children's Home a Christmas party on Sat. Dec. 6th complete with at least 2 $15.00 gifts for each child. There are about 45-50 children at the home. Most of them are orphans and do not have a family or a home to go to. We will also provide them with a Secret Santa Shop where they can pick out a gift or two for someone that they would like to give a present to. We will provide them with a real Christmas tree and help them decorate. We are stringing popcorn, singing Christmas carols, serving hot chocolate and playing games.
Pizza, snacks and desserts will be served. You don't want to miss this event!
Each Grade will be responsible for providing gifts for the following residents:

Our November project went very well with the food drive resulting in a full pickup truck load of food items which we delivered during a prayer walk on Saturday, Nov. 15th. Several families were blessed by our food donations and prayers. After the prayer walk, some of the neighborhood kids joined us for some play time at Greater Belview Baptist Church. We all enjoyed meeting and praying with Pastor Colts and his wife, Tory, and we hope to work with them again in the future. Here are some photos. |
Some of our other previous events include nursing home visits, a trip to the Children's Hospital, a picnic and a Christmas party with the Bibb County Mentors Program, and random acts of kindness at the Macon Mall where we gave away flowers and donuts. |
