What is The Plug? Back to Posts

Several years ago, a small group of leaders and a few students began to gather in the Cornerstone Café for a worship event that became known as The Plug! From that coffee shop to Across the Street, and from that small few to a greater number, this gathering provided a great opportunity for young adults to gather and build relationships with one another as they worshiped the Lord together. In fact, many of those first “Pluggers” form the core of our current college ministry.

This fall, the first meeting of The Plug occurs on Thursday night, September 8th!

It is well recognized that this is a generation of Christ followers that love to worship! This is also a generation with a desire for authentic faith seen in real action. Plans for this worship time include authentic student led worship and testimonies, Biblical challenge and focused prayer. The Plug is also seen as a potential launching pad for organic and vibrant “worship in action” opportunities around Macon, middle Georgia and the world!
