Ingleside's Sunday Worship Services
Sunday Morning 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Ingleside's Weekend Worship services offer a blended style of worship.
The music is a mixture of hymns and contemporary songs and praise
choruses accompanied by a variety of musical instruments. Worship
through drama and dance is sometimes featured. This friendly, less
formal worship atmosphere is designed to reach a wide audience with the
message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Information For Your First Visit at Ingleside
To get the most out of your visit, may we recommend:
- To allow your infants, toddlers and preschoolers (age 5 and under)
to be cared for in our warm, nurturing, and well supervised nursery.
Your child will be much happier with our trained volunteers than in
the worship service. Those seated around you will appreciate your
thoughtfulness. Ushers will be pleased to guide you to the Preschool
Building.
- Please complete a Communication Card. Use it to request more
information about the many activities and ministries at Ingleside, as
well as to receive the church newsletter. Place it in the offering
plate at the end of the service.
- Use the "Ingleside Notes" inside the service program. As you make
notes in the outline, you will find it easier to follow along with the
speaker.
- Please do not feel obligated to participate in the offering. The
offering is for members and our regular attenders who consider
Ingleside their church home. As our guest, we only ask that you turn
in your Communication Card.
Ingleside offers dozens of exciting programs and ministries for
virtually age group and interest. At Ingleside, there's a place for you!
Suggestions for Successful Weekend Worship
Here are a few suggestions to help us have successful Weekend Worship
every
week:
- Pray . . . that the Lord would anoint and bless the entire
weekend with a keen sense of his presence.
- Bring a friend . . . most folks come to church for the
first time simply because a friend invited them.
- Park across the street . . . (members only) if you
are able park across the street so that newcomers can find a parking
place on the property.
- Arrive early . . . especially if you teach a Bible study class, be here early to welcome every person to your
class.
- Greet everyone you see with a smile and a warm "hello" . . .
because of our new worship schedule, you will likely be worshipping
with some folks (newcomers and old-timers) you have never met before.
Take the initiative and say "hello."
- Cooperate with the ushers . . . our usher team will help us
move smoothly to and from the worship services. Please give them your
full cooperation.
- Sit in the main section of the worship center . . . even if
your old spot was on the wings, sit in the main section of the worship
center until it is full. Every pew will be padded, and the
"psycho-spatial dynamics" will be much better if we are all in the
same section.
- Expect God to do an awesome work among us . . . come with a
faith-filled heart, expecting God to do in you, our church, and our
community more than we ever dreamed before.
