Are One of These Seats for You?
Israel Biblical Study Tour, June 4-14, 2017
In the summer of 1979, I had the privilege of participating in an archaeological dig in Israel at Tel Batash, the biblical city of Timnah (cf. Judges 14). Though the work was hard, the archaeological dig itself was very fascinating.
And, the additional touring our group was able to do throughout the land of Israel was transformative. It forever changed the way I read and understood the Bible.
Ever since that summer decades ago, I have looked forward to the day when I might lead a group back to Israel.
So, last April I announced that Beverly and I were planning to lead an Ingleside Israel Biblical Study Tour on June 4-14, 2017. An informational meeting was held on May 15, 2016, and the trip filled up within the week.
Since the first of the year, however, due to a variety of personal factors, some have reluctantly given up their spot on the trip. As of this writing, there are now four seats available. Are one of these seats for you?
If you are interested in joining us, please contact our tour facilitator, Andy Cook, directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. He can provide full information and help you get signed up.
Our goal for the trip is to see and explore the biblical sites and connect them to Scripture in ways that help us become more fully devoted followers of Jesus – all for God’s glory!
Membership and Missions Classes
This Sunday afternoon, February 12, at 4:00 p.m. will be our monthly Membership and Missions classes. Park on the east side and enter the main doors of the Worship Center. Dress is casual. No reservation is required. Childcare and a snack supper are provided.
