Changing the Coffee Provider in Our Café

I am excited to share with you a change related to our coffee provider in the Ingleside Bookstore & Café.  Beginning Monday, May 18, the Café will serve coffee from Phoenix Roasters instead of Starbucks.

Why are we making this change? We wanted a coffee that aligns with our mission and values without compromising quality. We believe that serving coffee from Phoenix Roasters accomplishes that desire!

Phoenix Roasters was started by a church planter in the Atlanta area to help fund his church plant. Since then, it has expanded to fund many more ministries both domestically and internationally.

According to their website: “Phoenix Roasters Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing dignified hope and relief to communities both locally and globally. Through initiatives focused on education, medical care, job creation, affordable housing, and church planting, the Foundation partners directly with coffee farmers and their communities to create sustainable solutions that empower individuals and families. By fostering direct relationships and supporting comprehensive development, Phoenix Roasters Foundation seeks to transform lives and break cycles of poverty, offering practical help and lasting hope to those in need.”

So, the next time you need a café where you can sit and get some work done, or when you make plans to meet up with a friend for coffee, come to Ingleside for quality coffee, knowing that every purchase will have a kingdom impact.

To kick off this new partnership, next week, Monday to Friday, we will have an “Open House” in our Café. I hope you will stop by to check out the new coffee at a discounted rate.
