Middle School (6th-8th Grade)
Ingleside provides a highly engaging ministry for middle schoolers. We see the middle school years as a rite of passage – students moving from being children to becoming adults. As students begin understanding their place in the world and their relationship to God, we offer a variety of opportunities for students to grow in God’s Word, serve others, fellowship, and use their talents for God’s glory. In addition to weekly gatherings and relationship building, the ministry year includes retreats, outreach events, and missions. Our Middle School Ministry meets on the second floor of our Family Life Building in a space we call “The Basement.”
Our Middle School Ministry
As we partner with parents , we want middle school students to:
- Commit to God’s standards.
- Commit to God’s people.
- Commit to God’s purposes.
These three principles are part of a wider partnership with parents called Church & Home, a cradle-to-college discipleship strategy for families at Ingleside.
Upcoming MSM Events
Ignite is a gathering for middle school students and their friends at 9:40 a.m. on Sundays. We meet together for games and a time of teaching before breaking out into groups for discussion.
