Membership at Ingleside
It’s important that you have a church you can call home. Becoming a member at Ingleside involves attending a monthly Discovering Ingleside Membership class. You’ll hear about what we believe doctrinally, how we are led and organized, how you can get more involved, what’s expected of members, what our mission, vision, and values are. Bottom line: this class helps you get connected and helps keep our church united. Here are five good reasons to consider membership:
- Membership, both the word and the concept, is biblical (1 Corinthians 12:27).
- Membership is necessary for maximum spiritual growth.
- Membership clarifies and strengthens your spiritual commitments.
- When you become a member, you are placing yourself in an accountable relationship with spiritual leaders.
- When you become a member, you are acknowledging that it is not all about you.
Requirements for Membership
- Confession of faith in Jesus Christ.
- Baptism by immersion.
- Completion of the Discovering Ingleside Membership class.

Bottom line: this class helps you get connected and helps keep our church united.

Will I be expected to make a commitment to membership?
At the end of the class, there is an opportunity to make a commitment to membership, but there is no pressure to do so.
