Church Picnic
I hope you have already marked your calendars and are planning to be at our church picnic on Wednesday night, June 25. It’s going to be a great night of worship and fellowship!
See the video below for a brief video recap of last year’s picnic.
Where is the picnic? Our picnic will be held on our church campus. We will have huge tents set up on the west side of our worship center.
What time does it start? You can arrive as early as 5:00 p.m. for fellowship. Dinner begins at 6:00 p.m. It all wraps up by 8:00 p.m.
What about the food? The meal will be provided by our Ingleside food service team, so you don’t need to bring any food. And there’s no charge!
What about seating? Seating is provided around tables under the big tents and at the amphitheater around the lake. Feel free to bring a lawn chair if you’d like – either for seating outside the tents or for the baptism time around the lake.
What should I wear? Come dressed casually. This is an outdoor event, so wear something cool and comfortable.
What else happens at the church picnic? Following our meal, we will worship through song and then celebrate the Lord’s Supper. Then, we’ll gather around “Lake Ingleside,” where our Ingleside pastors will baptize all who want to publicly confess their faith in Jesus Christ.
What if I want to be baptized? If you are interested in being baptized, email baptism@ingleside.org, and we’ll help you know how to take the next steps.
I look forward to seeing you at the picnic on June 25!
Budget Town Meeting
Our annual budget approval process always includes a “town meeting” where all Inglesiders are invited to hear about the proposed budget, ask questions, and offer suggestions as our budget for the coming year is formulated. This year’s budget “town meeting” is Sunday afternoon, June 29, at 4:00 p.m. in W-200.
One Service Only
On the following Sundays, we will have one worship service only at 10:30 a.m. in the Worship Center: June 29, July 6, 13, 20, and 27. Babies – 4K can attend our Preschool Ministry. Kindergarten (just completed) and up will all be together in the worship service.
On Sunday, June 29, as part of our worship, we will pray for our country, thank the Lord for the freedoms we enjoy, and acknowledge and give thanks to those who have served in our military.
We will return to our normal Sunday morning schedule on Sunday, August 3.
With the affection of Christ,
