Congratulations On Long Tenures!
Staff who have both character and competence are a gift to a church. Long tenures for those staff members are truly a blessing. This week, we are celebrating two long-tenured staff members at Ingleside.
Laurie Ennis, our IT Director, recently celebrated 25 years on our team! Laurie first came to our team in 2001 as the Publications Coordinator/Computer Specialist. In 2017, that role developed into the Communications Director. Since 2023, Laurie has served as our IT Director, providing essential IT support to our church family that helps us to do much of what we do.
If you have ever visited our website, registered for an event online, used the WiFi in our building, called the church office, or sent a staff member an email, you have benefited from Laurie’s work. I hope you will join me in saying “Thanks” to Laurie and congratulating her on 25 years!
Tim Newberry, our Chief Financial Officer and Operations Team Leader, will celebrate 30 years on our team next Thursday. Tim has been instrumental in managing our finances and overseeing operational support through seasons of tremendous growth and effectiveness, through capital campaigns and building projects, all while maintaining the highest of standards.
As we recently learned in 2 Corinthians 8, financial integrity is vital when it comes to stewarding God’s money. For the last 30 years, Tim has helped us steward the Lord’s money in ways that are effective and marked by integrity. If you have ever given through Ingleside or stepped onto our campus, you have benefited from Tim’s work. Please join me in saying “Thanks” to Tim and congratulating him on 30 years!
Semi-Annual Church Conference
On Wednesday, February 25, we will have our Semi-Annual Church Conference. It will be in Room F-300 at 7:45 p.m. You will hear a ministry report, a financial report, and an Overseer report.
You will also have a chance to ask me any questions that you might have. I am thankful for the overall health of our church and the ways the Lord is at work in us and through us. I hope you can be here on February 25 to hear all about it!
With the affection of Christ,
