Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

The Bible says that God intends for us to be “abounding in thanksgiving” (Colossians 2:7, ESV).

Because God is good, sovereign, and wise, we are to “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18, ESV).

Every good thing we have in this life and the life to come is from God (James 1:17), so in the words of the psalmist, “Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!” (Psalm 107:1, ESV).

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Pastor Search Committee Update

Our Pastor Search Committee (PSC) has released a new update this week – find it here.

I hope you are praying daily for the Lord’s discernment and direction as the PSC searches for our next Lead Pastor.

I’m confident that as we seek him and trust him, God will direct our paths (cf. Proverbs 3:5-6).

God has a good plan for each of us and for our church family (cf. Jeremiah 29:11).  The best is yet to come!
