Look Back to Christmas and Ahead to Easter

Celebrating Operation Christmas Child

As we have for several years, this past Christmas, our church participated in Operation Christmas Child. Many people provided shoeboxes filled with gifts. And every child who receives a shoebox hears the gospel! We also served as a collection site. We also served as the Central Drop-off location for our region. We recently received the following “thank you” from Operation Christmas Child:

Your Drop-off location at Ingleside collected, prayed over, and packed 4,533 shoeboxes in cartons. In addition to your shoeboxes, as the Central Drop-off for the Heart of Georgia, you received and loaded on trailers 13,414 shoeboxes in cartons. These were received from other drop-off locations in the Heart of Georgia to be delivered to the Processing Center in Atlanta…

Join us in celebrating your part in God’s amazing ministry in 2025! There were 10,906,661 shoebox gifts, each one a Gospel opportunity, collected here in the United States, and 12,205,900 were collected worldwide. Wow, consider the tethering nature of this ministry, local churches stateside supporting local churches globally in Evangelism, Discipleship, and Multiplication!

I am once again thankful for such a generous church and for the opportunity to be part of what God is doing around the world.
