New Church Plant Partnership

As we have been studying the book of Philippians on Sunday mornings, we have been reminded of the importance of local churches supporting missionaries who take the gospel to other places and plant churches. I am thankful that Ingleside has a long history of doing that!

Did you know that every time you give through Ingleside, some of that money is used to support church planters in North America? In fact, working through the North American Mission Board, Southern Baptists have planted 11,000 churches in North America since 2010.

In addition to supporting the North American Mission Board, Ingleside has also partnered with specific church planters to provide financial support, resources, encouragement, prayer, and mission teams. Those partnerships include:

  • The Gallery Church (New York, NY), 2006-2009
  • Renaissance Church (Pittsburgh, PA), 2013 – 2017
  • M28 Church (Atlanta, GA), 2014 – 2017
  • Woodstock Community Church (Portland, OR), 2017 – Present
  • Dwell Church (Denver, CO), 2018 – 2025
  • City View Church (Atlanta, GA), 2021 – Present

I am excited to share with you that we have begun a new partnership with Logan Talamas, the pastor of Proclamation Church, a church plant near Denver, Colorado. Logan grew up in San Antonio and has been in pastoral ministry since 2015. He has an MDiv from Southern Seminary and is pursuing a PhD in Old Testament at Midwestern Seminary. His wife, Caitlan, is a Nurse-Midwife, and they have three kids. In 2023, Logan and Caitlan began exploring a call to plant a church outside the Bible belt. This call was affirmed by Logan’s church, and over the next few months, God led Logan and Caitlan to move to the Denver Metro area and join the staff of Storyline Church as a planter.

With a core team of over 70 people, Proclamation Church recently began regular Sunday morning services.

The church meets in Littleton, a suburb of Denver with over 100,000 people. While it is culturally rich and family-friendly, it is also largely unchurched. The Denver Metro area has a population of 3.6 million, and at only 5% evangelical, is one of the most post-Christian cities in the United States. In Jefferson County, 69% of residents claim no religious affiliation, and gospel-centered churches are few. 80% of Littleton residents do not regularly attend a church of any kind. Proclamation Church exists to fill that gap—to proclaim Christ in word and deed and make disciples who transform their city.

I hope you will join me in praying for the Talamas family, Proclamation Church, and our new partnership!

With the affection of Christ,
