New Worship Arts Associate
I’m excited to share that Brayden Hutcheson will join our team as a full-time Worship Arts Associate beginning May 31.
Brayden joined Ingleside in 2017. He and his wife, Anna Leigh, have faithfully served and followed Christ here for many years. They are parents to Barrett and are expecting a new son in April of this year.
Brayden holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Mercer and a Master of Arts in Worship Studies from Liberty University. He is a multi-talented instrumentalist, singer, arranger, and writer. This Worship Arts Associate role will allow him to use all his gifts to help us make disciples and lead others to worship the Lord.
Brayden will continue his current role as elementary music teacher at First Presbyterian Day School and continue working part-time as our Middle School Music Director until May 31. I hope you will join me in congratulating him and praying for him as he makes this transition.
“Thanks” from Asia and the Amazon
As I shared on Sunday, January 25, our church recently gave money to four projects through the International Mission Board – Amazon Jungle Evangelism, Safe Deliveries in Cambodia, Bible Translation in Central Asia, and Theological Education in Africa. We recently received this “thank you” email from some of the missionaries involved in the Bible translation project:
In the remote mountain villages of a very hard to reach part of Central Asia, there are no churches; no known believers; no Bibles translated into the languages these micro-people groups speak in their homes. We thank God for the work of Bible translators who are steadily working their way through the Scriptures, story by story, book by book — all in an effort to get these mountain peoples access to God’s word; access to the story of Christ crucified.
Your generosity, funding the work of the translation teams, makes a difference. It helps give forgotten peoples access to God’s saving message. Thank you for your partnership in the gospel.
We also received an email from some of the missionaries involved in the Amazon Jungle Evangelism project:
We just received notification from the IMB of a very generous gift given to our ministries in the Amazon from Ingleside Baptist Church! I wanted to write to say thank you on behalf of all of us serving in the Amazon Basin! We praise God for churches like Ingleside that support us so faithfully as we take the gospel to the tribes that have yet to hear! Please share our gratitude with those that so generously gave!
Semi-Annual Church Conference
On Wednesday, February 25, we will have our Semi-Annual Church Conference. It will be in room F-300 at 7:45 p.m. You will hear a ministry report, a financial report, and an Overseer report.
You will also have a chance to ask me any questions that you might have. I am thankful for the overall health of our church and the ways the Lord is at work in us and through us. I hope you can be here on February 25 to hear all about it!
With the affection of Christ,
