Pastor Search Committee Ready for Resumes

At our Semi-Annual Church Conference on Wednesday night, August 30, Alex Correa, Chairman of our Pastor Search Committee (PSC), announced that the committee is now ready to receive resumes in our search for a new Lead Pastor.

You will find a message from the PSC, an Online Gallery, the Pastor Profile, a link to our Articles of Faith, and the “Lead Pastor Application” form at ingleside.org/leadpastorapplication.

I hope you are praying daily for the members of the PSC – Vicki Bass, Alex Correa, Ben Hinson, Robby Jones, Katie Judah, Johnny Mitchell, and Nick Morgan (pictured here) – as they take the next steps in the search process.

New Leaders Elected

At our Semi-Annual Church Conference, we also elected new Overseers and our new Deacon Ministry Team.

Wes Gordon, Rob McCormack, Todd McInnis, and Brad Thompson were elected to serve a 3-year term as Overseers beginning on October 1.

The Deacon Ministry Team includes deacons and their wives: Randy and Donna Blizzard, Larry and Jennie Bush, Wayne and Wanda Flanders, Wade and Sally McCurry, Jonathan and Jennifer Moore, Rick and Kathy Reed, and Glenn and Terri Smith. Their term of service begins October 1 as well.

Join me in praying for wisdom and favor for each of these leaders as they lead and serve.

2024 Ministry Budget Adopted

At our Semi-Annual Church Conference, we also approved our 2024 Ministry Budget, totaling $7.8 million.

I want to say thank you to the 1,795 individuals representing 1,288 families who have invested financial resources in the work of the Lord at Ingleside so far this year.

As we anticipate the new budget year beginning on October 1, I want to encourage you to continue to give joyfully and generously.

The Lord intends for us to “excel” in the “grace of giving” (2 Corinthians 8:7b, ESV).

I’m very grateful for your partnership in the gospel, and I’m confident that the best is yet to come!

Your Pastor and Friend,
