Thank You, Andy

Justin Nalls, Lead Pastor

Thank You, Andy!

As you are likely aware, my good friend Andy Johnson will be concluding his time on our staff at the end of this month. Because of the holidays, this coming Sunday will be his last Sunday on staff, and Christmas Eve will be his last day at work.

We will recognize Andy and his wife, Michaella, in the service on Sunday and will have a reception for them in the Gathering Area after the service. I hope you can be there as we say thanks to Andy and Michaella for the ways they have served our church for the past 15 years.

I am thankful that even though Andy will not be on staff, his family is not leaving Ingleside. They will remain a beloved part of our church family.

At the beginning of this month, David Peterson transitioned into the role of Executive Pastor. He is off to a great start, and I am confident he will serve our church well moving forward.

Christmas Eve at Ingleside

Next Wednesday is Christmas Eve, and I hope you will join us for one of our four services.

As a reminder, no tickets are necessary for our Christmas Eve services. Seating is first-come, first-served.  Doors to the Worship Center open 20 minutes before each service.

Three Family Services. Our three Family Services will be at 2:00, 3:30, and 5:00 p.m. Each Family Service includes a live nativity. The services are 45 minutes in length. No childcare is provided, and children of all ages are welcome.

One Communion Service. Our Candlelight Communion Service will be at 7:30 p.m. It is designed for adults and families with children, elementary age and older. No childcare is provided. All who are followers of Jesus and who have been baptized in his name are invited to receive the Lord’s Supper in this service.

In each of our Christmas Eve services, we will joyfully celebrate the birth of Jesus, the Savior of the world!

I look forward to seeing you on Christmas Eve!

Celebrating “The King Is Here”

I am praising the Lord and giving thanks for his blessing of last weekend as we celebrated Christmas through our “The King Is Here” musical presentation. We had 11,497 in attendance throughout the weekend – our highest ever!

We gave away 225 Bibles.

And we have already heard of one person who placed their faith in Jesus during the presentation!

I am especially grateful for Jonathan Green and our entire Worship Arts Team for their leadership. The entire presentation was done with God-honoring excellence.

I am also thankful for the more than 400 volunteers who served in a variety of ways, including those who drove carts in the parking lot, those who greeted attenders, those who served in our Bookstore & Café, those who helped serve in hospitality, those who served in childcare, and beyond! This past weekend captured our belief that “every member is on mission.”

The gospel was presented, the Lord was worshiped, and hearts were encouraged and filled with joy. I am confident we will continue to see fruit from it in the days ahead.

With the affection of Christ,
