Women’s Ministry

Women are a vital part of the Ingleside family. Our desire is for women to know Jesus, love Jesus, and serve Jesus to grow his kingdom. Women will find multiple opportunities to come to worship, grow in a group, serve in the body, and go with the gospel at Ingleside. We offer weekly classes, quarterly seasonal studies, monthly TAG groups, and large events throughout the year for women to grow and fellowship together.

Life can feel overwhelming. Between busy schedules, constant demands, and burdens others may never see, it can be difficult to slow down. Still is an invitation to step away from the noise, rest in God’s presence, and experience the peace and unhurriedness only he can provide.

Join us as we welcome Ruth Chou Simons, bestselling author, speaker, artist, and founder of GraceLaced. Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Gathering Area, followed by the event at 6:30 p.m. in the Worship Center.

TAG – Thriving Across Generations

Each year, TAG small groups form to live out the biblical mandate of Titus 2:3-5 for authentic relationships between women. These relationships grow across generations in the body of Christ at Ingleside to encourage one another to follow Christ for God’s glory.

Participants register for at least a one-year commitment to meet monthly, discuss and learn from a designated book, and share their personal spiritual journey with one another. Learn more about TAG in this video. To learn more about the heart behind TAG, click here.

What is TAG?

TAG, Thriving Across Generations, is a multi-generational, relationship-based women’s small group ministry. Groups are inspired by the biblical plea in Titus 2:3-5 for older women to pour into younger women and help them grow in their walk with Christ. Each group has two to three mentors and six to ten members.
When and where do groups meet?

Groups meet once a month. Groups may choose to meet in homes, backyards, at our church, or even at a park. Each group is unique in how they meet.
What do we do in TAG?

During each meeting, mentors facilitate prayer and discussion of a chapter of the current year’s chosen book. Each meeting can be different. We share what is going on in our lives, encourage one another, and provide each other with a Christian support system.
How do I get into a group?

You will be assigned to a group that meets based on the availability that you provided in registration.
Who are the mentors?

Mentors are women of Ingleside who love the Lord and are mature believers with life experience. Their goal is to form relationships with women of various ages, teach them to pursue holiness, and value the word of God.
What is expected of me?

Attend each monthly meeting, and communicate with your TAG leader regularly. Read a chapter in the book before each meeting, and be willing to participate in conversation. The more you invest, the more you’ll reap!

Women’s Classes and Studies

Ingleside offers Sunday mornings classes at 8:30, 9:40, and 11:00 a.m. There are multiple opportunities for women to be in an all-women’s class or a coed class. We also offer topical studies throughout the year. These seasonal studies are offered quarterly and can help women dive into a deeper relationship with the Lord, develop a greater understanding of a particular book of the Bible, or be equipped for service.

Ingleside Women’s Ministry offers events throughout the year just for women. These events are intended to encourage fellowship, strengthen faith, and point our lives towards Jesus. Each event is unique and may include a guest speaker, musical worship, fellowship around food, mission opportunities, or breakout groups.
