Save the Dates

As you are penciling in priorities on your calendar between now and the end of the year, I hope you will include these opportunities for growth, outreach, service, and worship.

October 18 – Marriage Conference.  Gary Chapman, the best-selling author of Five Love Languages, will lead this one-day conference called, The Marriage You’ve Always Wanted.

Please take note:  the first 300 tickets are at a special Ingleside rate of $12 per person; after that they go up to $35, and walk ups will be at $50 per person.  So, sign up today.  More information and registration are here.

God is honored as we build strong marriages.  And, every marriage can benefit from some new encouragement, insights, and inspiration.  So, plan to join Beverly and me and hundreds of other couples for a day of laughter and learning.

November 7-9 – Missions Conference.  With missionary guests from around the world, our annual “Acts 1:8 Weekend” is a time to expand our vision and deepen our commitment to “going with the gospel.”

November 9-11 – Georgia Baptist Convention.  For the first time ever, we will host more than 1,000 representatives from Baptist churches across Georgia.  All Inglesiders are welcome to every session of the convention.

November 25 – Thanksgiving Meal and Worship.  On Tuesday night of Thanksgiving week, join hundreds of Inglesiders for fellowship over a delicious Thanksgiving meal followed by worship in the Worship Center.  If you are in town, you will not want to miss it!

December 12-14 – Christmas Musical Presentations.  With four possibilities to attend (Friday at 7:00 p.m., Saturday at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.), I hope you will plan now to invite a friend and celebrate Christmas at Ingleside.

December 24 – Christmas Eve.  Again this year, we are planning “family services” at 3:30 and 5:00 p.m., with a “Christmas Communion” service at 7:30 p.m.  Make Christmas Eve at Ingleside a part of your Christmas tradition!

It’s a great joy to be on this journey with you.  I’m very thankful to be part of a healthy, growing family of faith.  And I’m confident that the best is yet to come!
