Educator Recognition and Night of Worship

Educator Recognition and Night of Worship

A biblical view of life teaches us that education is a good thing. It is one way that we are equipped to serve the Lord and serve other people. In fact, Jesus told us to “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” (Matthew 22:37). So, we value appropriate levels of education to do what God has given us to do.

We also, then, value those who serve in the field of education. We are grateful for godly teachers, administrators, coaches, counselors, librarians, IT technicians, and others who invest in students at any level.

This Sunday, August 24, we will recognize all our educators in each service. We will simply ask them to stand so that I can say a few words of thanks to you, our church family will express their appreciation, and then I will pray for educators and students. If you are an educator, I hope you can be there to give us a chance to honor you and to say thanks!

Night of Worship

This Sunday, August 24, we will conclude our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting with a Night of Worship at 6:30 p.m. in the Worship Center. It will be a great time of worshiping the Lord through Scripture reading, prayer, and singing. I look forward to worshiping with you! Childcare is available for babies – 4K.

Semi-Annual Church Conference

Our Semi-Annual Church Conference will be on Wednesday, August 27, at 7:45 p.m. in F-300. We will vote on the budget, Overseer nominees, and Deacon nominees. Click here to see the budget and nominees. We will have a time for Q&A, and I will do my best to answer any questions you have about anything Ingleside-related.

I am thankful for healthy processes for approving the budget and selecting Overseers and Deacons. I hope to see you here for this important part of the process!

With the affection of Christ,
