Grab a Towel

Dr. Justin Nalls, Lead Pastor

Grab a Towel

Last Sunday, we looked at the example Jesus gave us to serve others. We encouraged everyone to “grab a towel” and find a place of service. I am excited to share that many people did! Of course, many of you are already serving, and this week, others stepped up to say they would begin serving. On behalf of our church family, I want to say thank you. Your willingness to serve will help us fulfill our mission to make more disciples!

Over the coming weeks, you will see tables around our campus with an invitation to “Grab A Towel.” If you want to talk to someone about serving or let us know you are interested in serving, stop by any of those tables.

You can also check out the Serve page on our website.

Chapel Painting

I am so thankful for all the ministry that takes place in our Chapel. It’s a beautiful space that is used regularly for worship services, weddings, and funerals.

As part of stewarding that space well, this summer we will paint the ceiling in the Chapel. The painting will be done between June 22 and July 30. On the Sundays during that timeframe, we have only one service – at 10:30 a.m. in the Worship Center – so the painting will not interfere with any worship services.

In the near future, we will also be touching up the exterior of the Chapel. That work will not interfere with any usage of the Chapel.

I am grateful to you and to the Lord for the resources we have to maintain our facility. As you know, our building does not change lives, but what happens in our building does! So we want to ensure that it is in a condition that helps facilitate the mission God has given us.

Celebrating Xtreme Week

This past week, we had hundreds of boys and girls on our campus for Xtreme Week. We are celebrating all that the Lord did during this time. We had an average attendance of 878 children and volunteers, and I am excited to report that the children gave a record amount to missions- $12,234.28! You can see a brief recap video of Xtreme Week below.
