Intern Program
Internships at Ingleside
Benefit from a paid internship within a healthy, growing church while you gain experience and contribute in a meaningful way to a specific ministry area. Interns can stay in one ministry area for multiple years or change to a different ministry area after a year, depending on the availability of positions.

Areas of Focus
We have a variety of ministry areas that you can focus on during your internship. Click the buttons below to learn about each ministry area.
Children’s Ministry
Our Children’s Ministry desires for children to see Jesus in all of Scripture, understand the gospel, and view worship as a way of life. Interns will gain hands-on experience serving in weekly gatherings, events, camps, and more.
Middle School Ministry
Our Middle School Ministry believes in helping students commit to God’s standards, God’s people, and God’s purposes. Interns will build ministry skills through weekly gatherings, discipleship, and more.
High School Ministry
Our High School Ministry helps students own their faith through Bible-centered teaching, strong relationships, and intentional discipleship. Interns will serve alongside leaders in weekly gatherings, events, and more.
Young Adult Ministry
Our Young Adult Ministry helps college students, young professionals, and young married couples live on mission through worship, community, and discipleship. Interns will sharpen their ministry skills by serving in weekly worship gatherings, small groups, events, and more.
Worship Arts Ministry
Our Worship Arts Ministry seeks to glorify God through corporate worship and by developing artists who steward their gifts for his purposes. Interns will serve alongside ministry leaders in music, visual arts, production, and more across services and ministry events throughout the year.
Recreation Ministry
Our Recreation Ministry uses sports and fitness to build community and encourage fellowship within the church and community. Interns will assist with recreational programming (Upward Sports, Pickleball, etc.) to create welcoming spaces where people of all ages can connect and stay active.
Requirements, Hours, Pay, & How to Apply
Requirements
- Complete one year of college (or gap year)
- Be willing to become a member of Ingleside or participate in Ingleside’s Watchcare Program
- Be in full agreement with Ingleside’s Articles of Faith
- Possess the gifts needed for a specific area of focus
Hours
- Spring: January-May | 20 weeks at 10-15 hours/week
- Summer: May-August | 12 weeks at 30-40/week
- Fall: August-December | 20 weeks at 10-15/week
Pay
Internships are paid positions. Pay rate will be discussed in the interview process.
