How does my event get on the events calendar (not for weekly programming, seasonal studies, mission trips/training)?
In eSpace:

Mark it public (Details tab).

Put a description in the Public Notes field (Details tab). In your description, do not include a location or registration link, because those will already be included. Note: To prevent different fonts/formatting, if you are pasting your description from another source, highlight the description and click the icon for “clean formatting.”

If there is registration, put the TouchPoint registration link in the public link field (Details tab).

If you have one, add a square graphic in Public Calendar Image (Details tab).

Add an Override Location (Items tab). This is a text field and should be the key location of your event even if the event is spread out through the campus. Since it is text, it can be anywhere (i.e. Worship Center, Gathering Area, St. Simons Island, Amerson River Park, etc.).

As in the past, continue to mark the locations (Items tab) throughout campus that the event will take place so that the Facilities Team can offer the setup you need. This is not required for your event to show in the website events calendar.
Once the event is approved in eSpace, public events less than 120 days out will show on the calendar.
