New Leaders Elected
At our Semi-Annual Church Conference, we elected new Overseers and this year’s Deacon Ministry Team.
Scott Brown, Robert Ford, Jason Woods, and Thomas Yawn were elected to serve a three-year term as Overseers beginning on October 1.
The Deacon Ministry Team includes deacons and their wives: Sean and Jennifer Beck, Larry and Jennie Bush, Jimmy and Sarah Clance, Ralph and Susan Durr, Matt and Margaret Grubb, Daryl and Linda Hayes, David and Cheryl Herndon, Johnny and Helen Jones, David and Debbie Lewis, Kelly and Janice Penn, Rick and Kathy Reed, Randy and Suzanne Spaid, Barry and Carolyn Stuart, Richard and Dawn Taylor, Bob and Melisa White. Their term of service begins October 1 as well.
Join me in praying for wisdom and favor for each of these leaders as they lead and serve.
2027 Ministry Budget Adopted
At our Semi-Annual Church Conference, we also approved our 2027 Ministry Budget, totaling $8.7 million.
I want to say thank you to the 1,666 individuals representing 1,163 families who have invested financial resources in the work of the Lord at Ingleside so far this year.
NEXT Events
I want to invite you to a couple of upcoming events to learn more about our NEXT initiative:
Open House: September 13-16. At the times below, you can come to our campus to see the areas we’re considering updating, along with renderings of the preliminary concepts for those areas. You will also be able to pray for the ministry that takes place in those spaces and for the overall NEXT initiative.
- Sunday, September 13, 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
- Monday, September 14, 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, September 16, 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Vision Nights: Wednesday, September 16 and Sunday, September 20. At each of these events, you will hear from me about the vision and the “why” behind NEXT, what the process has been up to this point, details about the plans (including renderings of the concepts), and the process moving forward. I, along with some of our other leaders, will be available afterward for any initial questions or feedback you may have. Of course, you can provide feedback and ask questions at any point along the way.
With the affection of Christ,
