One Service Sundays
On the following Sundays, we will have one worship service only at 10:30 a.m. in the Worship Center: June 28, July 5, 12, 29, and 26. Babies – 4K can attend our Preschool Ministry. Kindergarten (just completed) and up will all be together in the worship service.
This Sunday, June 28, as part of our worship, we will pray for our country, thank the Lord for the freedoms we enjoy, and acknowledge and give thanks to those who have served in our military.
Healthy Rhythms
Cultures, organizations, families, and individuals typically have certain rhythms throughout the year. Those rhythms can help us stay healthy in a variety of ways.
Recognizing the role that good rhythms can play in our lives, I am thankful that the leadership of our church has encouraged me to take a study break each July. Stepping away from the daily responsibilities will allow me to recharge – spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. I will spend focused time in prayer and study, seeking the Lord’s direction for the coming year. I will have the opportunity to visit and learn from other churches and connect with pastors and other leaders around our state. I will also get to be part of a mission trip to Vancouver with our High School Ministry.
Day-to-day leadership of our staff will be provided by our Executive Pastor, David Peterson. Other Ingleside pastors will preach in my absence:
Sunday, July 5: Ryan Wood, High School Pastor
Sunday, July 12: Stape Patterson, Young Adult Pastor
Sunday, July 19: David Peterson, Executive Pastor
Sunday, July 26: Wil Fason, Middle School Pastor/Next Generation Team Leader
I plan to be back on Sunday, August 2, and we will return to our regular Sunday morning schedule.
Budget Town Meeting
Our annual budget approval process always includes a “town meeting” where all Inglesiders are invited to hear about the proposed budget, ask questions, and offer suggestions as our budget for the coming year is formulated. This year’s budget “town meeting” is Sunday afternoon, June 28, at 4:00 p.m. in W-200.
With the affection of Christ,
