Throughout the Bible, we are told that Jesus is the stronghold for those who follow him, that he’s our refuge in hard times, and that in His presence our resources can be renewed. But sometimes we resist running to Jesus. Like the crowds on that first Palm Sunday, we waver from crying Hosannah, you’re my king, to forgetting the safety and security he wants to provide. In this study of Jesus’ life, we’ll see him clearly as the stronghold we can turn to over and over again. We should run to him and remain in him during times of struggle.
